Jeremy Smith is a dedicated educator with 27 years of experience in the field of education. He is running for Collierville School Board in the upcoming election on November 5th, 2024. With a child actively in the Collierville School System and two graduates, Jeremy brings both professional and personal insights to his candidacy. Jeremy has served as a middle school teacher for 10 years and a high school counselor for 15 years, holding licensure in English, School Counseling, and School Administration. Additionally, he has been a competitive head basketball coach at both the middle and high school levels.

 

Public education is a cornerstone in Jeremy’s family. His mother taught and coached basketball in Collierville Schools for nearly 30 years, and his wife, Amy, is a special education teacher. A lifelong Collierville resident and 1989 CHS graduate, Jeremy serves as Vice President of the CHS Alumni Association and is an active member of Collierville First Baptist Church.
